JUNGLE & PAMPAS

In the pre-Amazonian region are the pampas, a vast area of tropical wetlands which provides a haven for a great variety of animals and an astonishing escape for adventurous travelers.
Madidi, in the upper Amazon basin of Bolivia, is the National Park with the highest biodiversity in the country. With 18,958 km2, it stretches from the Andean mountains covered with glaciers to the tropical rainforest of the Tuichi River: this paradise offers a complete and incredible jungle experience.
Pampas is a vast area of tropical wetlands. At the edge of the Bolivian Amazon, passengers can see the wonderful wildlife that is refuge for a variety of large animals, including anacondas, capybaras, crocodiles, giant black alligators, monkeys, porcupines, toucans, blue and yellow macaws, jaguars and famous pink dolphins.
Jungle y Pampas combo offers a complete and unique experience to see fauna such as the jaguar or feel the aroma of all the variety of flowers existing in the place, or listen to the squeaks of more than 1000 species of birds and a great variety of species and plants, camping in the jungle or rafting.
Program:
DAY 1: At 8:30 hours departure by boat to the Madidi National Park through the Beni and Tuichi rivers you can witness wildlife and beautiful landscapes such as the Bala Canyon. Typical lunch at the Eco lodge, in the afternoon, a 3-hour hike to observe mountain pigs, red howler monkeys, brown capuchins, toucans and guans. Return to the Eco lodge, dinner and overnight in traditional cabins.
DAY 2: Breakfast and departure to Camp Arenalito. Lunch and in the afternoon walk up to the top of a mountain to observe macaws, parrots and other birds, and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the tropical jungle. Dinner at the camping. Then, walk to observe the armadillos, snakes, monkeys, tapirs and nocturnal birds, possibly listening to the roar of a jaguar or puma.
DAY 3: The day starts at 5:00 am to enjoy the sunrise in the jungle, return to the camp. Breakfast and rafting in the river for which a raft of water log is built. The rafting activity on the river lasts approximately 2 hours (travelers who do not wish to participate in this activity can go on the motor boat). Arrival at Mashaquipe Eco lodge, lunch and activity of your choice.
DAY 4: Breakfast at 6:00 am, return to Rurrenabaque to depart for Santa Rosa, on the way you can see sloths, anteaters, birds and other animals, then a motorboat is taken to Las Tortugas Eco lodge. In the afternoon, search for alligators or swim with dolphins in the Rio Yacuma. Return to the Eco lodge, dinner and overnight.
DAY 5: The day starts at 5:00 am to enjoy the sunrise on the pampas. Breakfast, return to the Yacuma River to look for anacondas. Return to the Eco lodge, lunch and departure to Rurrenabaque around 4:00 p.m.
